My first experience with MPI was volunteering during at MPI WEC in 2011 here, in Orlando. I attended several sessions and loved the educational content. The next year I went to MPI SEC, and have been hooked ever since!

I was formally introduced to MPI Orlando by a member of the Membership Committee, Sarah Wilson-Ferry, who strongly advocated the benefits of volunteering with the association – Her infectious passion quickly rubbed off on me. I can now speak from experience when I say that I truly believe that your involvement and commitment really does add value to not only the chapter but more importantly to your own professional development!

It’s because of my involvement that I’ve been able to connected with so many members in the community, and can confidently reach out to any of them for assistance when it comes to making my meeting planners’ experiences in Orlando successful. I have been able to refer business, and in turn, received opportunities for the benefit of my organization as well. I look forward to attending every education and networking event because I know that when I leave I always feel energized with new ideas and have new and meaningful connections. My membership with MPI has been one of the best investments, attributing to the success of my career, that I could have ever made.
