Achieving the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) status designates candidates have demonstrated they have mastered the body of knowledge of the meetings industry. The CMP program is administered by the Events Industry Council, which is supported by 31 meeting and hospitality industry organizations. (See www.eventscouncil.org for the full listing).
First, thank you for your patience. This is all new for everyone, including the EIC. They have never rolled out a BETA test, produced new material, or stopped the testing period in the 18 years I’ve facilitated the study group. I’m excited for them to do this as it is a cleaner process and ultimately will better prepare the overall experience moving forward. It has not been seamless, but we are getting there. That said, I will summarize what has been learned most recently.
Thank you again for your patience with this process, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have. If you are no longer interested or need updates, please respond to me so we can spare others' inbox messages. I appreciate everyone and know we will be even more amazing on the other side of this process!!
Warmest regards,
Adrienne
