Join MPI Gulf States (either in-person or virtually) for the 1st of a 2-part series focused on hybrid event production. Industry expert Will Curran will share cutting edge tips on tech standards for virtual event production.

Event superstar Liz King Caruso will share insights on virtual engagement, monetizing virtual events and promotion.  It’s a gumbo of tech and creativity for virtual events that you won’t want to miss.

This is MPI’s first in-person meeting since the closures due to Covid-19.   We will be showcasing safety standards for in-person event production.  Upon arrival, please allow enough time for arrival protocols prior to the program start. No walk ups without prior registration confirmation please. For those attending in-person we will be following the guidelines below.

Protocol for In-Person Attendees

Attendees who would like to participate at MPI in-person meetings need to follow these requirements:

  • A face mask must be worn at all times
  • Attendees must get a temperature check upon entering the venue
  • Attendees will again be asked the (3) questions regarding Covid-19 symptoms
  • Attendees should thoroughly wash their hands upon arrival to the venue
  • Attendees must socially distance 6’ between others
  • Elevators will have a 2-person maximum capacity
  • A “Self Service” registration process will be implemented in order to limit interaction between staff and attendees
  • Networking is not permitted by New Orleans City Covid-19 Guidelines
  • Attendees will enter through one door and will exit through a separate door to minimize contact with others
  • Seating will be spaced 6’ apart from side to side and 6’ from front to back
  • When departing the meeting room, attendees will be required to follow the same protocol as upon arrival

Thank you in advance for following these guidelines.  Since we are one of the first networking groups in New Orleans and one of the first MPI Chapters nationally to hold an in-person meeting, it’s imperative that we showcase how we can safely meet.  We want to build confidence so that others will feel comfortable meeting in person by setting a good example of safe meeting protocol.  Because when we meet, we change the world.
