Other than improving your Zoom Meeting skills, what have you learned (or learned to excel in professionally) since COVID-19 began?
Being adaptable in meeting planning. During COVID-19, we were constantly on our toes, managing changes by the minute. Now it feels (for the most part) that changes happen more gradually and I feel better equipped to problem-
solve and pivot when unexpected challenges arise.

Who are you outside of work?
Outside of work, I’m a mom of two (plus one cuddly, chaos-creating puppy). I’m a big fan of a good book, a great glass of wine, and finding the perfect spot on the couch to binge my latest show. I love trying new restaurants when I can sneak in a night out, but I’m just as happy curled up at home with takeout and a cozy blanket. Basically, I live somewhere between “let’s go out” and “let’s never leave the house again.”

Name a silver lining in your own work experience since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
A silver lining from the COVID-19 pandemic has been the way it strengthened collaboration across the industry. Navigating constant change brought everyone closer together—we had to rely on each other more than ever, share ideas openly, and support one another through the uncertainty. It created a stronger sense of trust, teamwork, and shared purpose that continues to carry over into how events are planned and executed today. That level of connection and mutual support has truly been one of the most rewarding outcomes of an otherwise challenging time.

What is your proudest professional accomplishment to date?
My proudest professional accomplishment to date is reaching my current role at RGI. I’m genuinely excited to be part of this team and grateful for the growth I’ve already experienced—it makes me even more energized for what’s ahead. Being recognized as the MPI Indiana Chapter Planner of the Year was another meaningful milestone. It affirmed both my dedication to the industry and the strong relationships I’ve worked hard to build along the way.

What are some of your favorite things about being an MPI member?
The education and networking opportunities. I firmly believe that some of the most valuable learning comes from connecting with peers and others in the industry—and MPI offers a wealth of resources and events that truly support
that kind of professional growth.

What is the greatest place you have ever visited?
Hawaii. The island vibes, the people, the amazing weather and views, and the delicious food – nothing compares for me.
