Join us for our 2021/2022 kickoff member social networking event.  "MPI New Mexico Brews & Boos BBQ" at Painted Lady Bed & Brew in Oldtown.

Jesse Herron is a NM native passionate about his community history, folklore, and tourism. He is the co-owner of the ABQ Trolley Company and ABQ in a Box, specializing in curated tours and treats. He is the owner of Painted Lady Bed & Brew, a haunted former brothel that has been featured in the New York Times and Albuquerque Journal, and on A&E “Psychic Kids”, and Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures” & “Hotel Paranormal.”
Painted Lady Bed & Brew is the first of its kind in New Mexico and one of only a handful of such unique establishments in the country. The property was purchased by Jesse Herron and completely overhauled in 2015 with the hopes of bringing people together over a beer. Painted Lady Bed & Brew officially opened on August 3, 2018, International Beer Day; a day to celebrate all things beer. Painted Lady Bed & Brew is the first establishment in Albuquerque to secure a New Mexico state bed & breakfast liquor license. The establishment was a true labor of love that was inspired by the idea that beer brings people together.

Painted Lady Bed & Brew currently offers two guests suites with an evening happy hour featuring local brews. The boutique property is available for event rental for up to 75 guests.
Tickets are $10.00 for members and $5.00 for MPI Students. Guests are $10.00 per person (limited to 2 guests per member).

The popular MPI-NM Wine Pull is back this year, so don’t forget to purchase your tickets. What is a wine pull? Tickets are sold for the opportunity to choose a random bottle of wine from gracious donors. Each bottle will be concealed so that you have no idea which bottle you are pulling. Bottles range in price, so depending on your luck, you might leave with a bottle that costs less than the amount of tickets you purchased or is priced significantly higher than what you paid. It’s a game of chance with a tempting prize!
The drawings will take place at 7:00 pm. $5.00 per raffle ticket or three (3) raffle tickets for $10.00. Credit cards ONLY accepted as payment for tickets during registration process. Checks, cash or credit cards accepted as payment for tickets onsite. Tickets purchased during the registration process will be available at check-in. You must be present to win.
