Holiday Service Project

This year MPI Oklahoma will partner with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma! Join us for lunch and a community service project at the Moore Food & Resource Center. We will help with inventory and customer shopping for a hands-on experience in our community. Come join us! 'Tis the Season!

A partner of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, the Moore Food & Resource Center was established in 2013. For every $1 donated, the Regional Food Bank and its partners are able to return five meals to those in need.

A Food & Resource Center is a client-choice pantry that allows clients to select their own food, rather than receiving a pre-packed or standard bag of groceries. Food & Resource Centers provide greater access to fresh fruits and vegetables, are open longer hours, and create an environment in which the client is treated with dignity and respect. 

In fiscal year 2015, the Moore Food and Resource Center distributed 1.8 million pounds of food & household products to those in need in the Moore, Oklahoma area.
