Membership, Education, and Is Summer Over?

I want to share with you some insights into becoming a member of the Meeting Professionals International Texas Hill Country Chapter. One - is that you will be able to network with fun and engaging individuals! Two - there are some outstanding education benefits that are currently being offered that you don’t want to miss. Did you know that being a member you can earn CE credits toward your (CMP) and we offer a (CMP) study group in January that you can take virtually? With this credential, you can elevate your career and position yourself for more lucrative opportunities. Imagine that!!

Now let’s talk about education which is currently being offered next month. When we hear the phrase, Human Trafficking. We know we must do our part and find a solution to this horrific ongoing issue. We need to spread some awareness in our community and let everyone know that this horrible, heinous activity must end. Please try to attend our upcoming Anti-Human Trafficking Poetry Slam event on Sunday, September 3, 2023, in San Antonio.

We have another incredible education session coming up next month, TEC: Elevate 2023 with Jim Spellos! When I say he will bring it that is an understatement! He will be discussing nonother than AI in the Meeting Space. Be on the lookout for more great speakers for our day of education. Immediately following the education, we will have a TEC23 Networking Event so we can connect with our industry peers, and exchange ideas.

Is Summer over? Well before we know it, we will be seeing a noticeable cooldown and you realize we might need to bring out the scarfs, the flannel shirt, or even the booties. Our schools will be starting soon, and you will be driving your kids to soccer practice, dance recitals, and baseball practice. What a joy to welcome a cooler day as one more summer ends and we look forward to shared experiences with our loved ones.
