President's Corner - April 2026

April Showers bring May flowers, but the beautiful Texas wildflowers are in full bloom!

March was filled with activities, work, and otherwise.  MPI members took advantage of valuable and timely education on anti-human trafficking efforts in central Texas. Thank you again to our speakers, Susan Slavin Greenberg and Detective David Allison, a member of Waco’s Special Victims Unit. Also, another big thank you to AC Waco, Visit Waco, and the Waco Convention Center for showing MPI the best of their city.  So many options, we couldn’t fit them all in one day.  Also, there’s a baby giraffe - squeal!

The Texas Hill Country isn’t done yet.  Coming up on May 19th, we are throwing down on the pickleball court.  Let’s dink’em, sink’em, and be an ace in the kitchen.  Meet us at Pickleball Kingdom in P-ville so you can figure out what I just said.  Bring a team and play to win awesome prizes.

Have you registered for WEC in San Antonio, yet?  June is right around the corner, and I wanna dance with somebody at this fiesta!  This will be San Antonio like you’ve never seen.
