MPI Upstate NY Receives Top Performance Award from MPI Global

Great news! The MPI Upstate NY Chapter is now considered a High Performing Chapter and received a Top Performing Award from MPI Global based on our 2020-2021 Performance Scorecard process during the COVID-19 lockdown. MPI Global made the announcement on their Chapter Leaders All Hands Call on October 29, 2021.

This Chapter Performance and Metrics scorecard is provided to help Chapter Leaders track Chapter performance against requirements set forth in accordance with our charter outlined by MPI Bylaws and Global policies. This scorecard also guides Chapter Leaders to operate sustainably, with fiscal responsibility and insures strong succession pipelines and member engagement.

We received a total score of 38 of which a high performing chapter is considered IF a total score of 32 or higher is achieved. Key areas measured are membership satisfaction and growth, administration and finance, educational offerings, and leadership and engagement. 

Highlights from the 2020-2021 Chapter year included:

• Providing 11 education programs and special events with eight having clock-accredited education and an overall content satisfaction of 4.53 out of 5!

• A member satisfaction rate of 79 percent where a high performing chapter is considered if they are 75.1 percent or higher.

• Large enough reserve to sustain our chapter during the pandemic and still have reserves to support our current board of directors and their programming for the 2021-2022 year. 

• A full board of directors for the entire year even though several members were either furloughed, unemployed, and experiencing high stress due to the pandemic. Thankfully all 2021-2022 board members were able to secure new positions in 2021!

Though this process, our chapter has earned award points so we can provide incentives for members in the coming months. Watch for these complimentary items from our membership team since we are always happy to share our success with members!
