March 7th | Virtual Wellness Event
Join us for Heart Awareness Month in a virtual education session designed not only for your personal well-being but also on enhancing the health awareness of those participating in your events!
During this program we will spend time learning about the American Heart Association and the importance of heart health. As hospitality professionals we will learn best practices for:
- Eating Smart - For yourself and the attendees of your events
- Moving More - Adding programs to your event that gets your attendees moving
- Being Well - Handling stress when planning, executing and attending an event as well as sleeping well away from home
Our unique agenda will include:
- A discussion on the importance of recognizing the signs of a heart attack and what to do in that scenario
- The importance of becoming CPR Certified
- CPR education with a licensed EMT
- Movement to get your blood flowing with the Saratoga Regional YMCA - yes, you will be getting out of your chair!
- Tips on making heart healthy and delicious choices for your attendees
Registration Fee:
$35 for members/non-members
$5.00 of your registration fee will be donated to the American Heart Association
