Grant Helps Connecticut Valley Chapter Offer Medical Meetings Education

By MPI Foundation

An MPI Foundation grant helped the MPI Connecticut River Valley Chapter when it produced a nighttime dinner and education combo session.

“Our overall experience with this program was very positive,” says Lauren Schaller, vice president of education for the chapter. “Pat Schaumann was extremely knowledgeable about the medical meetings industry and (of course!) the HMCC. Our session guests were very excited to learn about the HMCC and we are considering the possibility of bringing the HMCC to our local area so that our members (and other industry professionals) can take the course and benefit from the additional education.”

In 2018, the MPI Foundation awarded 256 total scholarships totaling US$292,238.
