CALIFORNIA
The iconic Fairmont Century Plaza has been reimagined and includes almost 24,000 square feet of meeting space, 400 guest rooms and a 4,000-square-foot rooftop event space.
COLORADO
The Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver debuted in October with 264 guest rooms and more than 2,500 square feet of meeting space.
FLORIDA
The Gabriel South Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton, is now open, including rooftop event space for up to 100 guests.
Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs is amidst a renovation of its 426 guest rooms and 28 suites. The project will be completed later this year.
GEORGIA
An expansion at the Savannah Convention Center began in September with an estimated completion date of summer 2023. When the project is finished, the convention center will boast 200,000 square feet of exhibit space, a new, 40,000-square-foot ballroom, additional outdoor space and more.
The Westin Atlanta Airport has completed the renovation of its 500 guest rooms.
MARYLAND
Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre opens in November with 229 guest rooms and more than 15,000 square feet of meeting space.
NORTH CAROLINA
In October, the $127 million Charlotte Convention Center expansion was completed, adding 50,000 square feet of event space—taking the venue’s available space up to 600,000 square feet.
Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort has completed a $330 million expansion, opening a new guest room tower and 83,000-square-foot convention center.
NEW YORK
The Pendry Manhattan West has opened with 164 guest rooms, including 30 suites, and more than 6,000 square feet of meeting space.
TENNESSEE
The Renasant Convention Center opened this year in Memphis with a 118,000-square-foot, pillar-less exhibit hall and featuring one of the largest ballrooms in the southeast.
VIRGINIA
Renderings of the $500 million Caesars Virginia resort were unveiled in September. The property will boast 500 guest rooms and 40,000 square feet of meeting space. Construction is set to begin in December with a projected opening date of late 2023.
WISCONSIN
The Wisconsin Center is Milwaukee broke ground on a $420 million expansion project that will add 300,000 square feet of event space, a rooftop ballroom and more.
