It's a Jungle Out There

Join MPI Greater Edmonton in person as we celebrate the first day of Fall and welcome back the industry at our first event of the season!

After so many months of looking at each other through a computer screen, let's enjoy some face to face time together to catch up and reconnect. Our Fall Kick Off event will welcome attendees for a safe, physically distanced experience at the Edmonton Valley Zoo. 
 
Attendees will have an opportunity to step away from their computer screens, enjoy the great outdoors and connect with industry colleagues in a unique and fun environment.  Members of the Zoo's management team will be on hand to share how they adapted their practices to successfully reopen and what they've learned along the way.  After some networking time, attendees will be able to explore the Zoo and enjoy some exclusive experiences created just for MPI!

Safety

We encourage all of our guests to maintain appropriate physical distancing during the event.  The Valley Zoo has plenty of hand sanitizer stations and marked one-way paths located throughout the space to provide enhanced safety. Please ensure you follow the directional signage and practice good hand hygiene. Face masks are required in all indoor spaces throughout the Zoo.

The MPI Foundation funds education and industry research that drives the success of meeting and event professionals. When you donate to the MPI Foundation, you are actively supporting the MPI Global Community.   A benefit to being a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is access to professional development, financial support and premier network opportunities provided by the MPI Foundation. Donations made through this event will go directly back to the meetings and events industry to help fund the MPI Foundation and ultimately support the industry. Due to COVID19, the Foundation is currently redirecting many of its funds towards assisting distressed members.  If you are in a position to do so, now is the time to consider giving back to an industry that has been very good for many of us at a time when it is needed most.
