Board Candidate Nomination & Application

MPI Greater Edmonton Chapter is looking for dynamic individuals to join our 2026 Board of Directors. 

 

This volunteer role will reward you with

  • Expanded industry networking with recognition as a chapter leader at events and online
  • A voice to collaborate alongside key industry leaders and impact the future of our chapter: you'll have direct involvement in setting the Chapter’s annual education plan and long-term goals

We are currently looking to fill the slate of officers for the 2027 year and encourage you to put your name forward as a  candidate. Board Job Descriptions are available in the right-hand column.

Terms of office will be January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2027 but we ask for an 18-month commitment with limited pre-term and post-term involvement starting October 2025 through February 2027. Board members may hold a given position for up to 2 terms. President-Elect is a 3-year commitment with automatic succession to President in 2028 and Immediate Past President in 2029.

We welcome candidates from all areas of the industry but you must be a member of the MPI Greater Edmonton Chapter, in good standing, to be eligible for nomination and election to these positions.

By serving on the Board you have the opportunity to give back to your association and your industry.
