Edmonton was one of only 2 hub cities chosen to host the 2020 NHL postseason and the ONLY city to host the 2021 IIHF World Junior hockey championships.  And it was all done in a Bubble!  Have you ever wondered how we pulled it off?  What was needed to plan and execute such a unique event? Join the MPI Greater Edmonton Chapter for an exclusive virtual session and hear directly from a panel of local professionals who made these events such amazing success stories!

 Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn from a panel of local event and operations professionals about the protocols and procedures they followed to safely host the NHL playoffs and the World Juniors in Edmonton

  • Understand the complex planning processes involved in creating and executing a Bubble event (food and beverage, medical testing, accommodations, bubble structure, and more)

  • Discover the lessons learned from planning for, and working in, such a unique environment
