日本学生観光連盟とサポーター加盟協定を締結

7月14日（金）、六本木ヒルズ森タワーにおいて、MPI Japanチャプターは、日本学生観光連盟（通称：学観連）とサポーター加盟協定を締結しました。

　本年度第1回のセミナーに先駆けて行われた調印セレモニーでは、岡村篤（野村総合研究所）MPI Japanチャプター会長と、学観連第15期代表の田中晴太郎さんが、坂本和也（森ビル株式会社）同・次期会長と、宍戸学教授・学観連顧問（日本大学）の立ち合いのもと、〇共同事業によってMICE事業発展に相互協力すること、〇学観連の企業見学等のサポートをすること、〇将来継続可能な協力体制を構築することが記された調印書を交わしました。

　MPI Japanチャプターでは、従前より、MICE発展を担う次世代の人材育成のため、学生向けイベントを開催してきました。学観連は、観光を学ぶ大学生が集まり、実社会での観光場面を学び、観光の新たな可能性に取り組む学生組織で、現在、16大学223名が所属しています。

今回の調印を機に、MPI Japanチャプターでは、さまざまな分野で活躍される会員のみなさまとともに、若い世代へのMICEの関心を広げていかれるよう、継続的に学生プロジェクトを展開していく予定です。

 The Japan Student Tourism Federation Signs Supporter Membership Agreement

 On Friday, July 14th, at Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, the MPI Japan Chapter signed a supporter membership agreement with the Japan Student Tourism Federation, commonly known as "Gakkanren."

Prior to the first seminar of the current fiscal year, a signing ceremony took place, attended by Atsushi Okamura (Nomura Research Institute), President of the MPI Japan Chapter, Harutarou Tanaka, Representative of the 15th term of Gakkanren, Kazuya Sakamoto (Mori Building Co., Ltd.), the upcoming Chairman, and Professor Manabu Shishido, Advisor to Gakkanren (Nihon University). They exchanged the signed agreement, which included the following points:〇Mutual cooperation for the development of MICE business through joint projects. 〇Support for Gakkanren's company visits and other activities. 〇Establishment of a sustainable collaborative framework for the future.

The MPI Japan Chapter has been organizing events for students to foster the next generation of talent involved in MICE development. Gakkanren is a student organization consisting of university students studying tourism, who gather to learn about tourism scenes in the real world and explore new possibilities in the field. Currently, it has 223 members from 16 universities.

With this signing, the MPI Japan Chapter plans to continuously expand student projects, in collaboration with its members who are active in various fields, to increase interest in MICE among the younger generation.
