Why did you join MPI and what do you love most about your experience with the organization?

I joined MPI to make new connections and expand my professional network. As a planner turned supplier, I know relationships are at the core of everything we do. After attending my first event with the NJ

chapter, I immediately felt welcomed and knew I wanted to get more involved. What I love most is the sense of community and the opportunity to build genuine relationships with others in the industry.

How did you get your start in the industry?

I've always had a genuine interest in party planning and events, even from a young age. That interest led me to study Hospitality Management at the University of Delaware and ultimately begin my career working at private country clubs. After graduating, I became the banquet manager at Philadelphia Cricket Club and went on to hold roles in both catering and membership at Philadelphia Country Club. Those experiences gave me a strong foundation in hospitality and ultimately helped shape the career I have in the events industry today.

What is the best career advice you've received?

The best career advice I've received is never to stop thinking outside of the box and to always bring your own creative flair to what you do. Just because something has been done in a certain way in the past

doesn't mean it has to stay that way. I've always tried to carry that mindset with me and look for new ways to create memorable experiences.

What is the most memorable event you have planned or client experience you have had?

This is a hard one! I have had the opportunity to plan many memorable events throughout my career. One that stands out was a wedding that had to be postponed during COVID and ultimately turned into a surprise

gender reveal for the couple. It was such a silver lining during a time filled with uncertainty and a great reminder of how meaningful events can be.

Do you have a favorite MPI event and if so, why?

My favorite event is definitely the Golf Outing! This was my first year attending and I also had the opportunity to serve on the planning committee, which made the experience even more rewarding. My

company sponsored a hole on the course, and I loved spending the day connecting with planners and suppliers in such a fun, relaxed setting. I'm already looking forward to next year!

What is your favorite city to travel to and why?

Sedona! The scenery is incredible, and I love the combination of beautiful hikes, great food and amazing sunsets.

What is your favorite book?

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

If you were stranded on a desert island, what 3 items would you bring with you?

My family, coffee, and sunscreen

If you could meet any historical figure, who would you choose and why?

Leonardo da Vinci. I'd love to watch him in action. His paintings are so iconic, and it would be fascinating to see how his ideas came to life.

If you could live anywhere on this planet and take everything that you love with you, where would you choose to live?

Italy. I could never get sick of the food, scenery and rich history.

Who would you like to be for a day?

A travel writer. Getting paid to experience new destinations, hotels and restaurants sounds like a dream!

Bubbly, Personable, Creative

What is your all-time favorite movie?

Father of the Bride

Describe your perfect day off?

My perfect day off would start with an iced latte from my favorite coffee shop, followed by a trip to a farmers market. From there, I'd head to the beach with my family and end the day with dinner outside, preferably somewhere with a great view!
