Planner or Supplier: Supplier
Why did you join MPI and what do you love most about your experience with the organization? This is my second go around with MPI. Our business at the Rutgers University Inn and Conference Center diverged for a bit. We are now back to the business of welcoming conference business. I love the knowledge of this powerful group. You have so many experts right at your fingertips.
My first job in the industry was at a major hotel in New York City. I was the Conference Connection Manager, specializing in selling and servicing for smaller groups. My love for this industry started in college, where I planned many campus-wide events. I loved bringing together folks for learning, fun and connection.
Slow down, and try not to overthink everything. I am a bit of a worrier. And many of the things I worry about never even come to pass. But I think that is a characteristic of someone who is a planner.
What is the most memorable event you have planned or client experience you have had?
We were the event site for a conference sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration. The title of the event was Family Summit on Fentanyl. It was a full-day symposium bringing together families who have lost loved ones to drug overdose, federal partners, and community prevention groups. It was such a powerful day.

I am currently reading Let Them by Mel Robbins, and it pretty life changing.
I would have houses in several locations-NJ, Florida, Arizona and a jet to travel.
