How did you get your start in the industry? 
My family has a long history in the restaurant and catering business. I started my career in restaurants.  

How many years have you been in the industry? 
Over 30 years.

What is your favorite thing about our industry?
The people I get to work with and the amazing destinations that I get to visit.  I love being able to assist my clients in discovering the perfect location for their events.

What is the best career advice you’ve received?
“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value”.  

What is the most memorable event you have planned or client experience you have had? 
Our first post –COVID event.  It was a “Safe & Sound” showcase at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.  We were all so grateful for what in the past had seemed so simple; meeting face-to-face to collaborate, share ideas and learn from one another.            

If you were not in this industry, what would you be doing right now?
I love that our industry allows creativity and thinking outside the box.  I would definitely be doing something creative.   

What is your favorite city to travel to and why?
I lived in New York City for many years and no matter where in the world I traveled, I loved coming home to Manhattan. I love the energy.     

If you could live anywhere on this planet and take everything that you love with you, where would you choose to live?
A place that I can ski in the winter, swim in the ocean in summer, and hike in the mountains in the fall. Sounds like New Jersey!   

What is your all-time favorite movie?
The Sound of Music. It has a record –breaking sound track & I have precious memories of watching it with my siblings growing up.   

How long have you been a member of MPI?
On and off for over 25 years.

What do you love about MPI NJ?
Networking, the education, and the ability to share ideas.
