How did you get your start in the industry?
I started my career as a graphic designer and marketing coordinator, which propelled me into a Director of Sales and Marketing role for an entertainment resort. After a few years I moved into the hotel & conventions world, working for a few different properties and casinos until landing at Mohegan Sun Pocono in 2019.

What is your favorite thing about our industry?
I love making new connections and every day is different and exciting

What is the best career advice you’ve received?
Never burn bridges! Always keep business relationships strong and positive, as you never know when you can utilize your network for assistance in your current and future roles.

What is the most memorable event you have planned or client experience you have had?
One of the most exciting and educational experiences I had was executing the grand opening celebrations for a new convention center facility, hosting 8 parties in a 3-day period for over 300+ VIP clients.

If you were not in this industry, what would you be doing right now?
I would love to be a Peloton Instructor or own a specialty clothing boutique (maybe one day!)

Where did you grow up?
Northeast Pennsylvania

Who would you like to be for a day?
My 10 year old daughter. I guess that sounds like a total “Freaky Friday” scenario, but I would love to experience life through her eyes and see what her day-to-day perception is of today’s world. I could also learn how I can help make her world a better place.

Describe your perfect day off?
Sleeping in late followed by a champagne brunch overlooking the water 

What do you love about MPI NJ?
MPI NJ’s members are so welcoming and helpful. The group is very diverse and provides valuable educational content along with great networking opportunities.  I love collaborating with the chapter leaders and learning from each other, and look forward to great things to come in my future with the chapter!
