No longer is ‘pivoting’ as relevant as adaptability! Everyone goes back to zero when the rules change, and three months ago the rules really changed. Is it going to be a virtual world forever with live-streamed events, or is everyone just waiting for someone else to make the first move? 

Cindy Novotny will lead us through a rapid, thought-provoking session that will deliver the spark we all need to move through the COVID-19 phases required by individual state and company policies. This session will offer ideas on how to get back to business and create energy and excitement around our industry.  Cindy will share what she is seeing with her luxury clients, and what she is learning from other event and wedding planners and travel advisors around the world.

No Kid Hungry

No Kid Hungry is a national campaign run by Share Our Strength, a nonprofit working to solve problems of hunger and poverty in the United States and around the world. Formed in 2010, NKH focuses on feeding school-aged children breakfast and after-school meals during the school year as well as summer meals when schools are closed—making sure that no matter what is happening at home they are still receiving nutritious meals during the day. With schools closing early this year in response to the coronavirus pandemic, the “Summer Meals” program jumped into high gear several months ahead of schedule, and No Kid Hungry has been working tirelessly to ensure kids get the food they need.

In support of their endeavors, our Education Sponsor, Discover Puerto Rico, has initiated a fundraising campaign to benefit No Kid Hungry. Kicking things off with a generous $2,000 donation, they hope to provide some much-needed aid to this worthy organization, and we are asking for your help.
