Who are the most important people in your life? My family and friends. They are fiercely loyal, loving and encouraging. I couldn’t get by without them!

Who do you work for and what is your role? I work for Ohio National Financial Services in Cincinnati, Ohio as the Manager of Events and Awards. I lead the team responsible for our planning and operating our business conferences, incentive programs, seminars, regional meetings, trade show events and our awards program.

What is the best thing about your job? There is nothing better than creating experiences and making memories! I love that our team makes a meaningful impact on our attendees. We create opportunities to learn and network, which helps grow businesses. We host family-friendly events, which bring people together and celebrate the accomplishments of loved-ones. What we do adds value to our attendees’ lives by helping them professionally and personally. It’s also so fun to watch your work come to life and see people enjoying it.

What are the 3 most important skills you use at work? Strategic thinking, communication and organization.

What one piece of advice would you give to someone beginning their career in the Meeting Industry? Get connected! Having a network of people in the hospitality, travel and events industries comes in handy. You’ll have more resources at your fingertips when you need it, plus have more learning and career opportunities.

What super-power would you love to have to help you do your job better? Teleporting! No time for a site inspection? Forget what the room looked like? Need to see progress of a construction project? Teleport there in no time!
