MPI Ohio Mentorship Connection

The MPI Ohio Chapter is launching a new program to connect active members of the meetings & events industry with professionals looking for valuable knowledge, insights and best practices for future success! Participation limited to active MPI Ohio Chapter members in good standing.

We look forward to providing a mentorship opportunity to develop future leaders by helping new professionals enhance skills, make connections and support a thorough understanding of the industry and the chapter.

The programming format will offer: 

• One-to-one mentorship: Most common.
• Peer mentorship: Members at similar career stages mentor each other.
• Reverse mentorship: Less experienced members mentor more experienced members on new trends (e.g., social media, technology).

The program will run from February to October 2026 launching at this year’s Navigate Conference!

The committee will provide periodic check-ins with both mentors and mentees to gauge progress, address challenges, and offer support.
