Where Meeting Planners Should Start with AI: Practical, No Code Tools You Can Use Right Away- Dr. Gleb Tsipursky
Meeting planners know AI matters, but many feel stuck at the starting line. The conversation around AI is often overwhelming, overly technical, or focused on tools that do not clearly apply to day to day planning work. As a result, planners understand the importance of AI but lack clarity on how to actually begin using it.
In this practical, highly accessible webinar, Dr. Gleb Tsipursky draws on his experience with MPI National, the MPI Academy, and other associations to show meeting planners exactly where to start. He demonstrates how planners can build simple, custom AI tools using no code and low code platforms. No technical background is required. If you can use Excel, you can use these tools.
Participants will see concrete examples of how AI can support common meeting planner tasks such as content creation, member communication, planning workflows, and risk management. Rather than promoting a specific product, this session teaches a repeatable, step by step approach to using AI through natural language instructions and iterative improvement. Attendees leave with greater confidence, reduced anxiety, and a clear path to applying AI in their work immediately.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to
- Identify practical starting points for using AI in meeting planning work
- Understand what no code and low code AI tools are and why they are accessible to non technical professionals
- Build and refine simple AI tools using natural language instructions
- Apply AI to real world meeting planner tasks such as communication, planning, and risk management
- Develop a confident, psychologically informed approach to adopting AI without feeling overwhelmed

About the Speaker 
Dr. Gleb Tsipursky, called the “Office Whisperer” by The New York Times, helps tech-forward meeting planners replace overpriced vendors with staff-built AI solutions. He serves as the CEO of the future-of-work consultancy Disaster Avoidance Experts. Dr. Gleb wrote seven best-selling books, and his forthcoming book with Georgetown University Press is The Psychology of Generative AI Adoption (2026). His most recent best-seller is ChatGPT for Leaders and Content Creators: Unlocking the Potential of Generative AI (Intentional Insights, 2023). His cutting-edge thought leadership was featured in over 650 articles and 550 interviews in Harvard Business Review, Inc. Magazine, USA Today, CBS News, Fox News, Time, Business Insider, Fortune, The New York Times, and elsewhere.
