Invite & Inspire
From April through December, members who bring a guest to an in-person MPI event will be eligible for our prize drawing. Bring a guest who becomes a member, double your chances of winning. The member with the most points at the end of the contest will win a $100 VISA gift card. All members who bring guests to meetings will be eligible for other prizes. Winners will be announced at our Member Recognition Event.
*For tracking, our registration page will have a question asking if we are taking advantage of bringing a guest and it will ask that you list their name.
Note: The guest must still register for the event separately. Adding their name to your registration for tracking does not register them for the event. If you wish to pay for your guest, you can add a group member in the registration process. There is a button to click in before finalizing and submitting pay that says "Add a Group Member."
2026 MPI Ohio Member Recognition Event and Annual Fundraising Auction
Join us on February 24, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM for ELEVATE, the MPI Ohio Chapter’s annual Member Recognition and Fundraising Event. This year, ELEVATE will be hosted as part of the 2026 Navigate Conference, bringing together professional development, celebration, and community support in one unified experience.
During ELEVATE, we honor the members who help strengthen our chapter and advance the meeting and event industry in Ohio. The event also features our annual silent auction, which raises essential funds for chapter programs, education, and member resources.

ELEVATE is included with all Navigate registrations. If you plan to attend only the Member Recognition and Fundraising Event, you may select that option on the Navigate registration page. Register Here
Call for Donations
The ELEVATE Silent Auction is a key fundraiser for MPI Ohio. We welcome donated items that inspire bidding and help support our programming and scholarship efforts.
Requested items include: • Hotel packages for two to five nights • Concert, theatre, or sports tickets • Restaurant certificates and culinary experiences • Airline vouchers • Gift baskets, artwork, jewelry, wellness items • Gift cards valued between ten and one hundred dollars for the Punch Wall

All contributors receive visibility through chapter promotions, the MPI Ohio website, and recognition at the event.
Call for Nominations
Nominations are now open for the 2026 ELEVATE Awards. Each year, MPI Ohio recognizes members who demonstrate leadership, innovation, dedication, and meaningful impact within our community. Award recipients will be announced during ELEVATE at the Navigate Conference.
Nomination Deadline: Friday, December 5, 2025

Nomination Guidelines
- Nominee must be a member of the MPI Ohio Chapter.
- Board Members are not eligible for awards. A link to view the current board will be provided on the form.
- Each nomination must include a brief statement describing why the candidate should be considered.
- You may submit multiple nominations at once or submit the form more than one time.
- You may start the form, save it, and return to complete it later. The nomination is not complete until the submit button is clicked.
- The nomination process should take no more than five minutes to complete.
Christy Selby Lifetime Achievement Award:
Christy Selby, former MPI member and beloved wife of Steven Selby; lost her battle with cancer in late December 2015 and will be immortalized again this year with an honorary award given in her name. Christy was an accomplished certified meeting and event planner at Cardinal Health. A lover of music and watching her family grow, she also enjoyed a good Cabernet from Napa Valley; she was a devotee of Mickey Mouse and Walt Disney World; and a superstitious Buckeye fan.
The Christy Selby Lifetime Achievement Award will honor an individual who gives back freely to the MPI Ohio Chapter and in their career within the Meetings & Events industry. This award will be presented at the Annual MPI Recognition and Appreciation Event.
