Chapter Finance Team Update - December 2019

The Finance Team has been hard at work along with our great committee members planning the this week’s Annual Holiday Social, “White Christmas,” to be held at the awesome Balboa Bay Resort on Wednesday December 4th. They are also starting their plans for the Spring Social Event that is the major annual fundraiser for the chapter.  

SPRING SOCIAL SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: If you’re a supplier and would like to learn more about sponsoring or donating for the Annual Spring Social in March 2020 (or any of our events), reach out to MPIOC Director of Supplier Sponsorships Kelly Feeney — she will happy to talk to you about how to best promote your donation to receive the maximum exposure to our chapter members. 

DIGITAL SPONSORSHIPS: We have modestly priced web advertising, as well as special packages for social media take-overs and other ways to connect your location or services to our diverse group of planner members who collectively plan thousands of meetings each year.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: If you’d like to get involved in planning the chapter special events, we are always welcoming new committee members.  You can spend as little as an hour to receive volunteer credit and recognition towards things like your CMP renewal.  We can particularly use folks who can reach out to the industry to support us via sponsorship or donations.  We also can use help maintaining our new database, which came be done remotely from your own home or your office. LASTLY, A PERSONAL THANK YOU to each of our current volunteers: Without their help it wouldn’t be possible to provide the terrific events like this year’s summer social at Five Crowns, last year’s Spring Social at Time Night Club or the upcoming holiday event at The Balboa Bay Club.  Your hard work and vision are appreciated by the chapter and by the board of directors.
