Chapter Finance Team Update - September 2019

The Finance Team has hit the ground running this year, starting things off for the Chapter with the Crownchella Annual Summer Social. On the partnership side, more sponsors and advertisers have been asking to work with us and to have an opportunity to showcase their property or services to our members.

We have two committees within Finance — Special Events and Sponsorships — and both are always looking for volunteers to help us strengthen the work done in these areas. As a bonus, it helps that each volunteer can earn valuable credits for things like CMP qualification or renewal.

There’s also one very specific area where we need help. We have been transitioning to a cloud-based CRM to keep track of all of our sponsors and make sure we help them to maximize their donations and support.  If anyone would like to volunteer as little as an hour a month to assist us in maintaining, updating and cleaning up within this browser-based system, please contact Jon Trask the VP, Finance at vp-finance@mpioc.com
