Dear MPI Friends, Family and Colleagues,
Your Board of Directors know that things have been unsettled lately, but we want to reassure you that we are thinking of you and wishing you and yours the best, today and always.
Your safety is our top priority and we will meet again, which is why we are moving forward with new virtual Happy Hours so we can connect, a new virtual educational event “The Art of Resiliency” on April 23, and this year’s Awards & Installation will be an intimate event on June 30.
Amidst these surreal times, our goal is to keep you engaged, educated and connected. It’s more important than ever to find creative ways to keep our membership engaged and connected. We are working hard behind scenes to continue to provide comfort, community, and support through these unchartered waters. Have questions? Reach out to us at connect@mpioc.com.
As we reflect on the past year, the past six months have been marked by noteworthy MPIOC achievements. We have many reasons to have enormous pride in our accomplishments and look forward with enthusiasm to what’s in store, despite any roadblocks.
A wonderful success story is our Annual Spring Social, where we took the challenges posed by changing COVID-19 directives and turned them into an opportunity to create a new experience. We relocated our event to Instagram Live and exceeded our fundraising goal, raising over $14,000 for MPIOC!
In February MPI Global launched their Annual Membership and Chapter Satisfaction Survey (MCSS) and, thanks to YOU, we were in the Top 10 Chapters for survey participation, with nearly 1 in 4 of you responding.
MPIOC has continued to evolve with the demands of our growing and changing community of meeting, event and incentive professionals. We will maintain our momentum providing elevated educational and networking experiences that actively work to shape our future.
If you find yourself unemployed, MPI is here to help. Their Unemployed Member Assistance Program allows for a FREE 6-month extension of your membership, with an additional 6 months for those still unemployed for only $99.
