Get ready to embark on the ultimate quest for glory, excitement, and recognition at the 2024 MPI Ottawa Volunteer Recognition Bash - "Around the World: MPI Ottawa's Amazing Race"! 

In recognition of Multiculturalism Month, we're thrilled to invite you to assemble a team of dynamic individuals to join us in this year’s edition of the MPI Ottawa Volunteer Recognition Bash. This is not just any competition – it's a chance to showcase your team's skills, creativity, and camaraderie as you race against the clock and fellow industry leaders. 

What's at Stake? 

• Unmatched recognition within the MPI Ottawa community. 
• Exclusive bragging rights as the Amazing Race Team of the Year. 
• A chance to be part of an unforgettable event that brings together the best in the industry. 
• Be instrumental in thanking our fabulous Chapter volunteers.

Networking: Connect with industry professionals from diverse backgrounds and help the Chapter thank our fabulous Volunteers who have worked tirelessly on our various committees. 

Team Building: Strengthen bonds within your team through exciting challenges. 

How to Register: 

Several of our fantastic suppliers and partners will be hosting teams for this event. They will be reaching out to our volunteer membership with an invitation to join their team. They will let you know the Colour they have chosen and the Team Name. Your job is to find a piece of clothing in the colour chosen, and plan for a fun-filled afternoon of international challenges and see if you can win the Amazing Race!

• Regular Member: $100 (includes Dinner)
• Non-member: $130 (includes Dinner)
• Hosted Team: $1250 (includes full registration for 8 Guests, and your ability to display your company branding throughout the event (limited amount of team slots available!)

  Registration will officially close at Noon on June 3^rd.

  Details:

  The Check-In will open at 13:00 at Brewer Park, and you will meet up with your Team Captain and go through a few of the simple rules, decide on a Team Cheer, and prepare to begin exactly at 13:30 at the Race Mat!

  Around 16:45, following the excitement of the Race, we will move over to the BBQ Dinner right next door at the Ottawa Tennis Club, to join in with all the other Teams and brag about your prowess on the field, grab a drink and network the evening away and enjoy some good grub, which will be served at 18:00. Don't forget to indicate on your registration that you're staying for dinner!

  The Ottawa Tennis Club has graciously offered that our Racers can use their changerooms in order to change before dinner.
