Fall Blog Post Image

Here is what is happening in Philadelphia this fall.

Some of our favorite summer activities are winding down, but there is still time to soak up the last of summer.

Our favorite traveling beer garden series, Parks on Tap (https://www.parksontap.com) has a few more stops before calling it quits until next spring. If you haven’t had an opportunity to experience Parks on Tap - there’s still time!  This beer garden will make its final stop September 25-29 at the Strawberry Mansion Bridge.

In addition to Parks on Tap, our favorite waterfront attraction, Spruce Street Harbor Park, closes for the Season on September 29th. With games, food, drinks and hammocks this outdoor oasis is perfect for an easy Saturday with friends and family.

While it is time to put away our bathing suits and pull out our sweaters, Philadelphia has plenty of activities to keep us busy this fall!

For those of us who enjoy a few luscious libations expect beer-centric festivities throughout the season. Consider Morgan’s Pier Oktoberfest, Oktoberfest at Dilworth Park, Roxtoberfest and OctoberFEAST at Peddler’s Village. All month long you can enjoy pumpkin carving at Morgan’s Pier, but on Saturday, October 5 - eat, drink and be merry with music at Morgan’s Pier Oktoberfest. Also on October 5, entrain yourself with food trucks, vendors, and carnival games at the Roxtoberfest

Oktoberfest continues throughout the month with Oktoberfest at Dilworth Park on October 11-13 where you can savor seasonal food, craft beers and cocktails along with local bands.

Don’t miss the 5th annual OctoberFEAST at Peddler’s Village on October 12 and 13. Indulge in German food, drink and games at this pay-as-you- go event!

For those of us who may have enjoyed too many cocktails this summer, Philadelphia has plenty of other activities to enjoy this fall! A few of our favorites include Linvilla Orchards for Pumpkinland which is open from mid-September through early November. Wind your way through two and a half acres of corn fields in the corn maze or enjoy an easy hayride.
