Each year, Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) serves as a powerful reminder of the impact and importance of the meetings and events industry. But beyond the celebrations and social posts, GMID is about something much bigger: advocacy, awareness, and economic impact.

If there's a theme event, say, a futuristic one, sometimes people think, "I'm going to come as a character or dress a certain way." When someone wears an interesting costume or outfit.
