Executing Site Tours to Impress, a Supplier’s Perspective

MPI_to_Eye_Blog

Conducting site tours has always been one of my favorite parts of the job. It gives me an opportunity to not only showcase my hotel, but to also create an experience that is unique to working with myself and my team. From start to finish, I look for ways to incorporate special, personalized touches throughout the tour.

Upon entry I always like to have the client’s logo displayed in the lobby, it shows the importance of their business right from the start.

If we’re lucky enough to have a client stay overnight during a site tour, custom monogrammed amenities are my go-to. Hangers, bathrobes, tumblers, you name it.. and this is something, time and time again, clients tell me they don’t see elsewhere.

These special touches leave a lasting impression and convey the sense of attention they will get by bringing their business to my hotel and working with my team. It’s always in the details. Last by not least, I never let a client leave without a warm DoubleTree Chocolate Chip Cookie!
