The Award Categories are:
Supplier of the Year – This award is presented annually to a supplier member of MPI Tampa Bay Area in recognition of excellence in the meetings and events industry, contribute to MPI’s goals and foster innovation and positive results.

Awards are based on continuous involvement, commitment, and achievement with an emphasis on the 2025 fiscal year. Any member in good standing can use the nomination form to nominate candidates.

ADDITIONAL AWARDS PRESENTED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Committee of the Year- This award is presented annually to an MPI Tampa Bay Area Chapter Committee that has made outstanding contributions to the chapter during the year. This award honors a committee's achievements, innovation, and impact on the chapter and its members.
Volunteer of the Year – The annual Volunteer of the Year Award is awarded to a planner, supplier or student member who has the made the most significant contributions to the chapter and meeting industry during the year. This individual has been an active participant on one or more Tampa Bay Area MPI committees; designed organized, delivered or administered new and ongoing programs; and demonstrates a keen and sustained commitment to volunteering for MPI.
President’s Award - This award is given to an individual or organization who has contributed and made a positive impact to the Hospitality Industry, especially in the Tampa Bay area. It is presented solely on the decision of the outgoing MPI Tampa Bay Area Chapter President. The winner is not required to be a member of the chapter. It allows the president to select anyone who has been a help to their term.
TIMELINE:
- October 10, 2025 -Nominations open! SCROLL DOWN to click and submit your nomination!
- October 24, 2025 - Nominations close; nominees are notified and asked to complete their form.
- November 7, 2025 - All Nominees must complete the Online application here.
- November 10 -21, 2025 - Awards Committee will meet to review/evaluate/select winners
- January 15, 2025 - Award winners announced and celebrated at the Night of Legends!
