How many years have you been in the Meetings/Event business?
I have been in the hospitality industry 10 years this September! 
I have been in hotel Sales for almost 6 years (Aug 2012).
 
During that time, what would you say has been your best experience?  
I have had so many great experiences in this industry I truly consider myself blessed!
I am mainly humbled by the different people I have been to able meet. Some will be lifelong friends, mentors and business acquaintances. The service we provide to guests and each other has made me a better person. I appreciate the diversity and the constant change that exist in my world, never a dull moment!
 
Why did you first join MPI?  
My colleague Alexa now Director on the MPI Westfield board was my #1 cheerleader. I knew I would join but it would have been next year. Additionally, I understood the importance of being part of a network of individuals that are leaders in their fields. I strive to learn and grow in everything I do. This experience will enable me to educate myself through the different workshops and it will expose me to the “needle movers” I need to know. I also look forward to assisting my colleagues as much as possible. 
 
Please tell us any interesting fact about you that you’d like us to know
I absolutely ENJOY planning events especially weddings. I find it interesting to create day of itineraries because when complete I can close my eyes and picture every moment. Weddings are fun and most importantly they are a celebration of love! I like being part of such a special day in a couple’s journey. I originally intended to help friends as a hobby but I ended pursuing my certification to become a Wedding Planner in 2013 with the Bridal Society because I wanted to do so much more of it.
