Industry-leading, executive-level education presented by MPI Academy, 2018 curriculum focused on “Designing Inclusive Experiences”. Results from the unreleased pan-industry research initiative, being conducted in 2018, will be presented and discussed as a part of the educational experience.

Too often, inclusion strategies fail because of tactics that impose judgement and leverage guilt to change people’s inherent beliefs. This approach has proven to perpetuate the very problem that inclusion strategies attempt to solve. These programs often focus on building awareness yet neglect to define tangible action that can be utilized to drive inclusivity.

MPI is adopting a deliberate strategy to equip our community with knowledge and tools needed to build inclusive experiences. MPI embraces and respects the individual beliefs of all its community members. Therefore, the focus of MPI’s inclusion strategy will be on the business case, tactics and tools needed to design inclusive experiences. MPI isn’t trying to change our member’s minds, MPI wants to help them do their job.
