Get Ready for Conference Season!

Join Marsha Dorion from Prince Edward Island Preserve Company, our local PEI moderator and a curated, vibrant panel while we discuss how we connect as hospitality professionals from the beginning of an inquiry to the completion of an event.

Marsha brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to the table. From working for coach services, tour companies, the DMO, and now owning her own hospitality business, Marsha will provide us with a well-rounded perspective from both sides (planner and supplier).

Our panel will consist of Susan Freeman from Meet PEI, providing insight on how event planners can connect with suppliers through their DMO and other support DMOs can offer to suppliers and planners alike. Along side Susan, we will welcome a Local Champion who has worked within their industry to bring a conference to their city. We will explore how our Local Champion worked with suppliers, planners, and the DMO to secure their conference. Finally, we will have a hotelier join us to bring us full circle from how they receive inquiries from the DMO, how they connect with planners, and how conferences play out in action.
