Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) 2026 is scheduled for May 6, 2026, and will be led by the Events Industry Council (EIC). This year's event will coincide with the Business Events Industry Week (BEIW) in Washington, D.C., and will include the release of the 2026 Global Economic Significance Study. The day will focus on highlighting the industry's role in driving economies, creating jobs, and fueling small businesses through various events and advocacy efforts worldwide.
