The HOW, WHAT & WHY of DE&I with Dr. Juan M. Madera of the University of Houston Conrad Hilton School of Hospitality 

Juan M. Madera is the Curtis L. Carlson Endowed Professor at the Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership, University of Houston (UH). His research interest includes diversity and discrimination in the workplace. He has authored more than 90 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and publishes for popular media outlets, such as the Harvard Business Review. His research receives national, popular press coverage, such as Forbes.com, CNN Money, The Washington Post, USA Today, CBSNews.com, and NPR. He is the recipient of numerous grants and fellowships, including from the NSF, USDA, Sloan Foundation, and the Ford Foundation. Dr. Madera is Fellow for the Society of Industrial/Organizational Psychology and serves as an Associate Editor and editorial board member of numerous peer-reviewed journals Dr. Madera received a doctoral degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Rice University.
