2024 Chapter Award Recipients

Each year, the MPI Kentucky Bluegrass Chapter recognizes excellence within our community through peer-nominated awards. Honoring outstanding achievements, these awards celebrate the Supplier of the Year, Planner of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, and the President’s Award. Winners are announced and celebrated during the annual BRAVO! Awards ceremony, where we come together to acknowledge their exceptional contributions. Below is a recap of the 2024 awards and recipients:

Supplier of the Year Award
The Supplier of the Year Award is presented to a supplier member of MPI Kentucky Bluegrass Chapter in recognition of outstanding association / industry contributions, leadership and professionalism. This person, in their professionalism and dedication, furthers the aims of MPI and its members.

Planner of the Year Award
The Planner of the Year Award celebrates excellence in the field of meeting planning, honoring an individual whose dedication, expertise, and achievements have significantly enriched both the MPI Kentucky Bluegrass Chapter and the industry as a whole. They demonstrate exceptional leadership and serve as a role model within the chapter, fostering growth and development within the profession. This prestigious award recognizes a planner whose contributions serve as a benchmark of professionalism and innovation.

Volunteer of the Year
The Volunteer of the Year Award was designed to recognize a member of the chapter that is not currently serving on the Board of Directors but has contributed significantly to the MPI Kentucky Bluegrass Chapter. This person has volunteered his or her services time-after-time to the chapter. They are always willing to help when asked. They are always willing to volunteer their time and efforts.

Audrey Petty, CMP, Limestone Events

Rising Star Award
Rising Star of the Year Award recognizes an individual who has not been a member of MPI or Kentucky Bluegrass Chapter for more than 3 years and exhibits a strong sense of initiative on behalf of the meetings industry and the Chapter. This person may or may not have been a member of a committee but has shown willingness to devote his or her energies to the Chapter and its vibrancy.

President's Awards
The President's Award is given at the discretion of the President of MPI Kentucky Bluegrass Chapter to someone who has truly helped him/her during his/her year as president. Trish Scott, CMP, of Trish Scott Events, and MPI Kentucky Bluegrass President 2023 - 2024 presented the award to:
