SESSION INFORMATION

Bridging the Generations Gap: Secrets for Emerging Leaders in the Meeting Industry

The initial stride in constructing a stronger and more inclusive team involves comprehending the disparities between generations. Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z each contribute distinct perspectives, values, expectations, and benefits. By understanding these differences, leaders can effectively bridge the gap and empower the next generations of talented individuals in the meeting and event world.

This dynamic program will include an inspiring keynote with actionable takeaways, engagement, and a panel of experts to share industry specific examples.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Learn the differences of the generations and the benefit they bring to the table
2. Appreciation of the generational context of organizational diversity and inclusion

3. Discover top strategies on how to adapt communication for optimal team development, productivity, and wellness for all.

The generation gap impacts all industries because it’s a human issue. However, this program will provide meeting and event stories and examples benefiting both planners and suppliers.
