Caitlin Beach - Soul Community Planet (SCP) Hotels
Regional Sales Manager

Q. We want to know a little about you, where you were born, where you grew up, where you live, and what you like to do for fun!

I'm originally from Wisconsin. After graduating from UW Oshkosh, I moved to Eugene and I've lived here for the past 13 years. I still love my Packers and cheese but I consider myself and a true Oregonian now!

My family and I love spending time outside hiking, camping, and paddleboarding. Soccer is a large part of our lives and my husband and I still play and coach regularly. I've most recently taken up running and I'm currently training for the Eugene Half Marathon, which takes place at the end of April. I love a good glass of wine and going out to eat with friends.

Q. Now we’d like to know about what you do professionally and how long you have been there.

I'm a Regional Sales Manager at Soul Community Planet Hotels and I just hit my one year mark! I work in group partnerships to provide Holistic Hospitality experiences for our guests. I was formerly a Regional Director of Sales in the PNW for about a decade prior to a short stint in software sales. It wasn't long before the hospitality world called me back.

Q. What are a few things on your bucket list?

I have never learned to play an instrument before, I'd like to learn to play the guitar or piano. There are also so many places I still want to travel to: Japan, Bali, Portugal, Costa Rica, the list goes on...

 Q. What is your favorite meal?

Sushi

Q. What three things would you take with you on a desert island?

My husband and 2 kids, although now I feel like the worst dog mom. Let's go with: a satellite phone/gps tracker, water filtration system, and a pina colada to enjoy as I await my rescue.

Q. What is your favorite time of the year?

Summer, hands down. I love the energy of the community walking around, going to farmers markets, eating outdoors, and listening to live music. My happy place is hanging out by a lake or ocean when it's warm and sunny.

Q. What would be your dream job?

I'd love to coach a high school girl's soccer team again and develop a respectable long-term program. It's such a pivotal age to positively impact and shape so many through sport.
