Speaker:  Heather Mason

How do you get your attendees to engage and interact during your virtual events? Heather will begin with developing an understanding of what engagement looks like and why it’s vital to your digital experience; and the challenges involved in keeping audiences engaged. She will examine the techniques for fostering attendee interaction, what the options of engagement and networking are in various types of digital environments and how they can be successfully implemented. Just as you find in the physical event world, “structured networking” opportunities often work best in virtual environments. This 60 minute session will explore successful tactics and strategies for fostering robust attendee communication and interaction as well as some fun alternative options for engaging your audience whether they are co-workers, event attendees or strategy sessions with partners! You'll enjoy Heather's upbeat and fun way of looking differently at your future virtual meetings and events!

After completing this lesson, you’ll be able to:

•Identify 5 remote attendee needs.
•Discuss engagement expectations of remote participants.
•Define engagement and three levels of engagement.
