CALL FOR MODERATORS - MPI Ottawa Round Tables 2020

The MPI Round Table education sessions have proven to be a successful forum for intimate discussion on industry topics. MPI Ottawa is bringing this type of education back in 2020.

“Engaging Conversations: Round Tables” will take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Each of the tables will be set for 8 to10 people and will be led by an industry specialist on a relevant topic over the luncheon. Moderators will have an opportunity to lead two discussions on the same topic – one over lunch and one with a different group over dessert.
Deadline to submit is February 10, 2020.

This Call for Moderators will provide MPI members first opportunity to host a table. Here are some suggested topics:

• "Creating order out of chaos without losing your mind – Time Management Strategies for Event Professionals"
• “Food restrictions: How to create an inclusive meal experience for all attendees”
• “Demystifying AV and Event Technology” “Event Contracts: New trends and negotiating strategies”

PROGRAM FORMAT

11:00 – 11:30 am: Registration and Networking

11:30 am: Welcoming remarks and acknowledgements

11:45 am - 12:30 pm: Lunch with roundtable topic #1

12:30 -1:15 pm: Dessert with roundtable topic #2

1:15-1:30: Closing remarks

TARGET AUDIENCE:
Junior, Intermediate and Senior Meeting Planners (Government, Association, Independent) and Industry Suppliers (Managers)

NOTE: Direct sales pitches are not permitted. Two 6’ tables will be provided and shared by all moderators who wish to display brochures.
