Join MPI Ottawa in the morning as we celebrate Global Meetings Industry Day (GMID) online on April 8, 2021 before joining the 12 hour GMID broadcast.  GMID brings together leaders from across the meetings and events industry, showcasing the impact that business meetings, conferences, conventions, incentive travel, trade shows and exhibitions have on our industry. Meeting professionals across the world participate in this international day of advocacy.  

The worldwide outbreak of COVID-19 brought on a lot of unexpected stress and adversity for many people. It challenged us. It stretched us in so many directions we didn’t even know we could go. But we all responded to this unexpected stress and hardship differently. Why? Resilience.

Did you know that resilience is not something we are born with? Over time, individuals build up their resilience through life experiences and resilience is created by how these life experiences interact with our unique, individual genetic makeup.

Nova Nicole, Shopify Leadership Development Facilitator & Wellness Expert on CTV's The Social will join GMID 2021, and share with us how we can thrive when life is difficult and bounce back from anything.

Nova will share with us how we can lighten our load, reduce stress, manage emotions, maintain personal and family health, and build mental balance.
