Who is your company?

Meetings + Conventions Calgary operates as a destination sales and marketing organization with a mandate to assist meeting planners, corporate clients and association executives interested in Calgary as a prime location for their meetings, conventions and incentive programs. We are excited about promoting Calgary as one of the best conference destinations in Canada and in the world.

Because Meetings + Conventions Calgary is mandated by Calgary’s hotels and venues themselves, event planners have direct access to suppliers without the added step of dealing with each facility individually.

Why are you a sponsor for MPI Ottawa?

We have made the conscious decision to continue our support of the MPI Ottawa chapter as we see the valuable contributions this chapters delivers to its members and to the events community.

What MPI Chapter events do you sponsor and why?

This may vary by year, however, historically we have sponsored the MPI Ottawa Charity Auction Dinner, MPI Ottawa Prestige Awards and have supplied donations to the MPI Ottawa Festive Dinner.

What’s your favourite part of those sponsored events?

These events create a real sense of comradery among all chapter members. This feeling of community is what continues to motivate us to be involved with this MPI chapter.
