News Around Town –January 2020

Congratulations to Christine Bruce, CMP and Katherine Craig, CMP for recently joining the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) club! The CMP credential is recognized globally as the badge of excellence in the events industry. The qualifications for certification are based on professional experience, education and a rigorous exam set by the Events Industry Council.

The proposed architectural design for the Ottawa Public Library – Library and Archives Canada Joint Facility were revealed, and the city is abuzz over its whimsical and unique design. Set to open in late 2024, this may be the next “it” venue for planners hosting a meeting in Ottawa. Exhibition and event spaces are included in these plans.
