News Around Town – March 2018

Congratulations to Ashley Craven, CMP, Event Planner at the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences, and Katie Lemenchick, CMP, National Program Coordinator at the Mental Health Commission of Canada who have recently received the Certified Meeting Professional designation with the Events Industry Council (EIC). With help from our meeting planner gladiators at the MPI Ottawa CMP Bootcamp, Craven and Lemenchick passed the notoriously difficult exam to earn their new title at the end of January. Way to go! Congratulations to Katherine Craig on her recent promotion to Materials & Event Coordinator at The War Amps. In addition to her administrative and collateral management duties, Craig is very excited to have the opportunity to travel across Canada assisting with Child Amputee CHAMP seminars, as well as planning public awareness photoshoots nationwide.
