Director of Strategic Partnerships – Position Overview

Term: One year, or as determined by the Board of Directors
Reports to: Vice President of Finance & Strategic Partnerships
Eligibility:
• Must be a member in good standing
• Willing to dedicate the time, energy, talents, and enthusiasm needed to excel in the role

General Responsibilities

• Serve as a voting member of the Board of Directors
• Support and uphold policies and programs adopted by the Board
• Conduct transition meetings with your successor at the end of your term
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the VP of Finance & Strategic Partnerships

Specific Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to strengthen MPI Pittsburgh’s visibility and credibility through mission-aligned partnerships
• Initiate outreach and build strong relationships with potential partners for collaborative opportunities
• Solicit financial and in-kind sponsorships to support chapter programs and events
• Assist the VP of Finance & Strategic Partnerships in creating a robust, comprehensive sponsorship package
• Help track and ensure fulfillment of partnership deliverables throughout the year
