Contract Clause Analysis- Club Ballroom A

Most meeting & event planners and venue sales people do not have the time or the resources to have a lawyer review all their contracts, with regularity, so they must learn to spot potential legal issues themselves. Veteran Hospitality Industry attorney Lisa Sommer Devlin will present contract clause case studies that lead to actual legal disputes for Workshop participants to review. Together, participants will work in teams and try to determine the language in the contract clauses that caused the issues. Lisa will provide a follow-up discussion with tips for how the clauses could have been better drafted to avoid the problems.  *[Please note that the original client names have been changed to protect the innocent]
