Join MPI San Diego, SITE SoCal, the San Diego Tourism Authority, and San Diego Supervisor Nora Vargas for a virtual event celebrating Global Meetings Industry Day and the meeting industry in Southern California. We will discuss how to continue working as a community to embrace uncertainty and navigate the future of events.

- Welcome and opening comments from the association leaders

- San Diego Supervisor Nora Vargas will address the County’s efforts to reopen safely.
- Tim Woodring, Unbridled Chief Solutions Officer on navigating the future in events by embracing uncertainty and leveraging human ingenuity.

Embark with Tim on a fast-paced journey to plausible, imagined future worlds in which events look very different. This journey begins with explaining scenario planning, a unique subset of strategic planning, and how it can empower event professionals to imagine future worlds in which events take on different shapes through the playing out existing forces in society, technology, economy, the environment, and politics.
